Clinical Supervision

Amanda is accredited with AHPRA to provide supervision to registered psychologists or those undertaking their 4 + 2, 5 + 1 and University Internships. Amanda does not currently provide supervision for psychologists undertaking their Clinical Registrar program.

Amanda is a strong believer that we each walk our own paths, and as such, supervision must be individually tailored to meet the unique needs of the supervisee. A safe, open and trusting relationship is key to ensuring supervision is of most benefit to all parties. As a supervisor Amanda endeavours to create an environment in which it is safe to explore your weaknesses as well as your strengths.  She will work with you to identify your personal goals and to help you to achieve them.

Amanda also recognises that no supervisor can meet all the needs of a supervisee, and has an extensive network of colleagues with whom she regularly works to ensure a rounded supervision experience.

Teleconference Supervision

Amanda is able to provide supervision both over telephone and via web based teleconference facilities.  This is something that can often be negotiated as part of a supervision contract. NB: AHPRA will only approve a limited amount of “Alternate Supervision” for Internship pathways.  If uncertain about your circumstances, always seek advice directly from AHPRA.
